I was lounging in bed watching a YouTube video tonight when it froze. I navigated to my homescreen, and the YT icon was covered by an ‘installing’ icon, so I thought that to be the reason for the abrupt freeze. However, in a few seconds, the video popped back up, ready to go … It seemed to be in the same approximate area that it had frozen, and I continued to watch the majority of the remaining video without thinking much else of it. Then, the app seemed to glitch again, starting over at the point of the video that I know it had paused on during the first glitch.
Just a coincidence?
Yesterday during the early evening, before true nightfall, I noticed a light in the sky that was barely moving. I called my husband to the window, and he saw it, too. He said he could see green lights flashing on it and that there was another light in the sky, but I could not see the lights flashing or make out the second light.
Part of me still leans to it all being human tech. But how could I be communicating with it telepathically? It seems they are able to read my thoughts, so who put the chip into my brain?! (haha.) It is all so amazing, yet most everything can be chalked up to coincidence and an overactive imagination, but how many coincidences can take place before one starts to believe that something bigger is happening or that it is, indeed, all connected?
My whimsical inner child wants to believe every bit of the magic of it all. Other parts of me wonder what is happening, how they are doing it, who — or what — they are, and of course … why me?
I have never thought of myself as special. I live what I consider to be a normal life, albeit a bit different than most of the population. I am lucky enough to work from home as well as homeschool my daughter, so we live a very slow lifestyle. There are no rushed mornings or crammed schedules, by design, and I am not so naive as to think that everyone will be able to relate to this sort of lifestyle. Still, I do not believe that my life is that much different than most or that I possess any sort of uncommon skills to have ‘earned’ their attention. So, again … why me?
